Parents and children together · 45-minute class
Family Taekwondo.
One class the whole family trains in together — parents and children on the same floor.
Family Taekwondo is one class the whole family trains in together — parents and children on the same floor at the same time, rather than one of you watching from the side. It runs on Saturday at 12:05, and families can also join any regular weekday class together.
One thing you do together
Most weeks a family’s schedule scatters everyone in different directions. For forty-five minutes on Saturday, this points everyone the same way. Everyone works on the same material, so it is one thing the family does together rather than separate classes that happen to be in the same building.
Different ages, one floor
Within the class, people train at the level they are actually at — an adult is coached as an adult, a child as a child — and the class comes together for the parts that are better done as a family. Holding targets for each other is a highlight for a reason.
Getting started
Family Taekwondo is for immediate family. If your family is new to taekwondo, register for the first classes and tell us it is for Family Taekwondo and how many of you are coming. Membership for families depends on how many of you train — the school will give you the rate directly.
