How Nova Taekwondo handles the personal information you give us. Last updated September 2026.

Who we are

Nova Taekwondo, 650 Portland Street, Unit 17, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia B2W 6A3, Canada. Questions about this policy: master@novataekwondo.ca or 902-706-5789.

What we collect

When you register through this website we collect the parent or guardian's name, phone number and email address, the student's first name and age, and the program you're interested in. If you email or call us, we keep the details you give us in that conversation.

Why we collect it

To confirm your registration, tell you about class times and the opening date, answer your questions, and run the school's classes and events. We don't use your information for anything unrelated to the school, and we don't sell it.

Children

Information about a child is provided by that child's parent or guardian, and is used only to place the child in the right class and communicate with the parent or guardian.

How it's stored and shared

Registrations are stored in the school's customer records system and email. Service providers that host that system process the information on our behalf and under our instructions. We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

As long as you or your child are a student or have an open enquiry with us, and afterwards only as long as needed for our records and legal obligations.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you or your child, or withdraw consent to further contact, by emailing master@novataekwondo.ca. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies and analytics

This website doesn't set tracking cookies of its own. If we add analytics in future to understand how the site is used, this policy will be updated to say so.

Law

We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you have a concern we haven't resolved, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
